Budget management is centralised in these cases in the coordinating partner IES CABO DE LA HUERTA. The project development Committee will appoint two people responsible for budget control according to their academic background and previous experience. In the first transnational meeting budgetary control strategies and those to be responsible for the financial management of each participating institution will be specified. To ensure that budgetary control is conducted properly, we suggest that the University of Alicante is, in turn, auditor of our economic management.

1. Evaluation of activities, results and products:

- Transnational meetings and mobilities

- Preparation of evaluation surveys similar to EFQM Survey (European Foundation of Quality Management)

- Permanent contact with associated centres (project platform, email...)

- Assessment of material generated in meetings.

- Assessment of conclusions yielded from each meeting. Drafting of agreements and binding strategies.

2. Frequency of quality controls carried out by the organising centre.

- In each transnational meeting and mobility the results of control questionnaires will be analysed.

- Report at the end of each semester by each of the partners about the activities carried out during that semester.

- Detailed schedule with "deliverables" (goals, final products) at the end of each year.

- Final report and evaluation of the project.

When resolving any conflict we will proceed as follows:

- Identify the source of the problem and the parties involved the conflict.

- Mediation techniques. Active listening, empathy...

- Solutions proposal by the parties involved in the conflict.

- Agreement and commitment to compliance.

- In the eventuality of any participating centre abandoning, there is a commitment from other centres to take over the activities to be undertaken.


- Fluid communication among all countries and during business meetings, will undoubtedly favour a friendly atmosphere and the rapid resolution of potential conflicts.

Project organising centre

    - Director: project supervision.

    - Coordinator (contact person): deadlines compliance, implementation of the project. Realising tasks within the allotted time can become one of the most conflicting situations. Therefore, special attention to fulfilling the schedule will be provided.

    - ICT Coordinator: communication, documentation, social networking, project platform. 

    - Project team work: compliance with the contents of the project established since its inception. 

    - Management Team: Public Relations, local impact, media impact.

University of Alicante

The collaboration of the University of Alicante in the form of continuous assessment and as a training centre for teachers involved in the project through specific actions such as workshops and seminars will be essential. The University will also participate in the preparation of activities (methodology), materials, guides ... The participation of the UA is considered a quality criterion that guarantees per se the rigour of the project. 

Students from all schools involved in the project will also act as an evaluating agent, especially of everything generated by the project itself and implemented in classrooms. They will assess whether the activities, materials... are motivating, whether the methodology and levels are appropriate, or if general objectives are achieved.

Families will evaluate the host plan, its organisation and the extent to which participating in the project has affected their family environment.

The realisation of designed intellectual products, as well as the celebration of multiplier events and programmed activities will be the indicator that will help us determine whether or not the goals of the project have been achieved.

The project's success shall be measured in terms of degree of participation and involvement in it of the entire educational community: families, students, teachers (eTwinning, website, active participation, transnational meetings...) and other local strata (neighbourhood associations, non-governmental organisations, institutions ...) as well as by the repercussion and impact on the city: resonance in the media, participation in the project of relevant people related to the Human Rights topic, publication of articles in specialised magazines, monitoring of activities (exhibitions, concerts...), implementation of material generated in other national and international schools...

At the end of each year of the project, and especially at the end thereof, specific "deliverables" will be established (surveys, group or personal interviews, questionnaires, number of visits to the portal, impact on the mass media -number of appearances, pages or minutes dedicated...) that will allow us to objectively assess, by analysing the instruments used, if the initial objectives have been attained and if a shift in consciousness and an assumption of values have been experienced, especially in the educational community, with regard to Human Rights issues.
